Maldives Inaugural UNCITRAL Asia Pacific Day 2021

On 14 December 2021, The first Asia Pacific Day event of Maldives was co-organized by UNCITRAL RCAP, the Maldives National University, Villa College, Avid College, and Maldives Moot Court Society. The event was titled “How UNCITRAL texts on Arbitration and Mediation benefit Medium and Small Seized Enterprises (MSMEs)”.

Launch Event

Maldives Moot Court Society (MMCS) was officially launched on 08 July 2021 in a virtual event. Among the speakers of the Event were Suma Ilyas, the Founder and President of MMCS, Uz. Maumoon Hameed, the President of The Bar Council of the Maldives, and Dr. Marium Jabyn, the Secretary General of the Bar Council of the Maldives.
