The purpose of MIMAC is to promote the study of maritime law & arbitration while providing students with practical training in resolving disputes in one of the world’s most vital industries. Recognizing the global importance of maritime activities and the Maldives’ heavy reliance on shipping, fishing, and tourism, maritime arbitration was selected as the focus for our inaugural competition.
Multi-phase initiative crafted to equip law students with both the theoretical foundations and the practical competencies essential for excelling in international commercial arbitration. The program is divided into five phases and provides the opportunity to compete in a Mock Moot and be selected to be trained and sponsored by MMCS for Vis Moot in Hong Kong.
